Philly! March 27th and 28th

Well I am a bit behind in updating this but here we go.  We got to the Tallahassee Airport at 3 for our 5:10 pm flight out of Tallahassee to Atlanta on Friday the 27th.  Upon getting in line to get our boarding pass I get a call on my phone; it is Delta and they have rebooked me to a flight on Sunday!  Getting to the counter they finally get everything in order and we are still on our flight but once in Atlanta we won’t make our connecting flight.  After ages of delays, we finally leave Tallahassee around 8pm.  Our flight to Atlanta is bumpy but short.  Once in Atlanta we confirm that our plane had left while we were over Columbus so we now were placed on standby for the 9:15 pm flight out of Atlanta to Philly.  Well as our day got better we found out the plane didn’t have a flight crew.  We waited till 11:45 till we finally got a flight crew and made our way to Philly.

Our plane made it to Philly around 1:30 am into a cold and rainy city.  We had the luck of the airport being pretty much closed and our gate wasn’t open.  We had to walk off the plane, into the rain and get our luggage then haul it up the stairs into the airport and on our merry way.

The next day we went downtown to visit the art museum which was amazing.  After that we drove around and went home to rest for our day in New York City on the 29th.  Below are some photos we took during our first day in Philly:
