Man, I am glad you sent me this, Joel. If it helps, I made copies of your blog and passed it out this morning in our Sales Meeting. Our Sales Force was blown away; comments from "You have GOT to be kidding me", to "Seriously? This happened to a friend of yours?", to my favorite "You would have a box waiting on my desk to pack it up if I did something like this!" (which I would, by the way). I will say this, however, do not let the experience at the Dealership keep you from driving a Toyota. You may find the vehicle is "the one", and then you can have free food in their VIP lounge while you get your oil changed! LoL
Seriously, though, I'm glad you had a good experience at the Volvo Dealer... you will find out that high line dealers are the easiest to deal with, genereally, because we actually DO have hiring processes, including drug screening, personality profiles, etc. to make sure our employees can be trusted with $100,000 vehicles.

boo! how weird! i had a rude and odd salesman once at the thomasville toyota dealer...it wasn't quite this bad though. i don't think tally has a subaru dealership, but if they do, you should try to test drive one of those. i LOVE my forester and it's great so far with the baby. good luck car shopping!
