Kristine Having A D&C Today

It seems that after a week of going through all the issues of the miscarriage, Kristine is going to end up just having the D&C to remove the baby. She went to the doctor yesterday because she has been bleeding now for a whole week and still having tons of pain. The doctor did another ultrasound and found the baby is still in there and her uterus wasn’t shrinking. Hopefully this procedure will help clear everything up so we can get on with everything and try again.

A Sad Morning

This morning has been rough… rougher than I had expected. I woke up to Kristine crying but determined to move on. We have gone into work just to try and get things off our minds. Sitting at home might just be too sad as yesterday was pretty rough. We told all our family and are just starting to tell our friends. Kristine is actually handling it better than me which is amazing.

Well we have a follow up doctors appointment Tuesday that should give us some additional direction. Right now we are just waiting for the miscarrage to actually take place; hopefully naturally. If it doesn’t by Tuesday, the doctor is going to give her some medicine to force it to happen and if that still doesn’t work than we will go with a DNC, but that is the last route we want to go.

Sad News To Report

Well today we went for a 9 week checkup on the baby and were hoping for a good report, but it seems God has other plans. The ultrasound showed that the baby didn’t have a heartbeat and was 2 weeks smaller than it should be. Kristine and I have cried all day and are outa tears but we feel better knowing God has a plan for us. Thanks for all the prayers we have gotten so far and still need more as we go through this hard time.

Youngin’ On The Way

Well it looks like our family is going to be a bit larger soon! Kristine is pregnant and about 8 to 9 weeks along. Tuesday we have a doctors appointment and we should have our first pictures of our youngin! We originally had a ultrasound before Christmas where we could see the outline of the baby and slight flicker of the heartbeat. Kristine has named it Beano since it’s the size of a bean and gives her gas… hrm.

I will post more frequently on here, especially ultrasounds as we get them!
